Frequently
Asked Questions
Why
are you accepting bids for a Lease Option?
The house is vacant so we want to sell the house quickly. Instead of setting
terms and waiting for someone to make an offer, we want to offer the house
on terms where the buyer wins and so do we. We don’t have months of making
house payments on an empty house, plus maintenance costs or paying an
agent.
What
if I have an agent?
We will pay the buyer’s agent 3% commission upon the sale of the property,
but if you have an agent, you must figure that cost into your bid. Or
we can agree to increase the option price by an equivalent amount.
What
if I have a good deposit, but the monthly payment is lower than another
bidder?
We consider both monthly and deposit when making our decision on the winning
bidder. We can advise you how you stand in relation to the current most
favored offer.
What
if I want to buy the Home?
We are open to that possibility. Make us an offer. An outright sale is
Preferable to a Lease Option and will receive Priority consideration.
What’s
the next step?
Please come to our house and experience its charm for yourself at the
date and time indicated on the main page. Only buyers who come to see
the home and sign in can bid on it. This will be the Only Opportunity
for you to have a chance to own a beautiful house at an incredible discount.
On the evening following the open house, we will conduct a Round Robin
bidding process by telephone (click here for
details). The home will be sold to the Highest and Best Bidder on
this night.
